Featured Seller: Mackensley Designs

Mackensley Designs on Etsy specializes in handmade card boxes, ring bearer pillows and flower girl pomanders which are absolutely stunning. This shop's beautiful photographs totally drew me in. I love, love, love this green berry pomander with navy blue ribbon. It makes me want to get married all over again. She also does custom items-- You can see some examples of her custom work on her flickr page. And if you are curious as to what is going on behind the scenes, take a peek at her blog. Happy cyber monday!

Shoe Bliss

If you share my passion for cute shoes, you know how exciting it is to come across a pair that is unlike any pair of shoes you have seen before. I give you Irregular Choice's Driving Bananas

I love a good pair of moccasins, but lately I've been getting bored with them. I own them in many colors but these totally put my brightly colored ones to shame. Too bad these cost over 100USD. Irregular choice has these in several different color/pattern combos, but this pair is the clear winner for me. Maybe my husband will get me an early christmas gift....

giveaway update

So for those of you who entered my save-the-date giveaway, you probably already know I am offering you 15% off all wedding paper goods in my Etsy store. If you didn't know, now you do. This is an exclusive offer to those who entered the giveaway back in September. You can take advantage of the discount at any time-- simply provide me with the email you used for your submission to the giveaway and you're set.

If you are curious about who won the giveaway, send congrats to Shayna Zelko -- who was chosen out of some 250 entries. If you want more wedding inspiration, you can check out her blog here

Happy Black Friday!

One of my twitter contacts asked how I would be spending black friday. I responded:

@sweetlibertine watching people trample other people at wal-mart, my holiday entertainment.

not really true, I'm actually working, however, if I had free time today that's likely what I'd be doing. Because I find it funny that people think a $3 toaster is worth risking life and limb. I admit $3 for a toaster is a good deal, but toasters can't pay for your hospital bills after someone has trampled you in a wal-mart on black friday.
